The 30-year-old former professional soccer player was formally inducted into the University of Texas at Tyler Athletics Hall of Fame this past Saturday, marking a proud milestone in her athletic journey.
A Distinguished Collegiate Soccer Career
Brittany Mahomes built an impressive legacy during her time as a student-athlete at UT Tyler. Over the course of her collegiate career, she demonstrated remarkable skill and consistency, netting 31 goals across 74 appearances for the women's soccer team. Her performances were so impactful that the university described her tenure as representing one of the strongest careers in the programme's entire history.
Following her successful college stint, Brittany pursued professional soccer overseas, playing for a team in Iceland before transitioning into her current roles as a businesswoman and mother of three.
An Emotional Hall of Fame Ceremony
The induction ceremony, held on March 28th, was a private event reserved for close friends and family. Brittany was honoured alongside the university's 2016 NCAA Division III national championship-winning softball team and former athletic director Howard Patterson.
She was supported on the day by her husband, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who attended to celebrate her achievement. Her mother-in-law, Randi Mahomes, was also present, sharing a heartfelt tribute on social media.
"So proud of our girl, @brittanylynne, for being inducted into the Athletics Hall of Fame at @uttylerpatriots," Randi wrote on Instagram. "Your hard work and heart never go unnoticed! Love you and cheering you on always."

"I'm honoured to be inducted," she said. "My time at UT Tyler played a huge role in shaping my life, career, and the person I am today."She paid special tribute to her former coach, Stefani Webb, acknowledging her profound influence.
"I'm especially grateful to Coach Webb - her belief in me, leadership, and constant support had an incredible impact on my journey both on and off the field," Brittany added. "UT Tyler will always hold a special place in my heart. As Brittany celebrated her induction, her husband Patrick continues to make strides in his recovery from a serious knee injury. The Chiefs star suffered tears to both the ACL and LCL in his left knee during a game in mid-December, an injury that prematurely ended his season.
Despite the severity of the injury, which typically requires a rehabilitation period of nine to twelve months, Patrick has remained optimistic. He has publicly vowed to return "stronger than ever" and is targeting a participation in organised team activities this spring.
Earlier this week, he shared encouraging footage on Instagram showing him practicing throwing drills, with a protective sleeve on his left leg. "Day by Day!" he captioned the video. "Felt Great being able to throw the ball around today!"
