On her podcast, Lara Trump addressed the rumor directly, stating: 'Barron Trump is not a time traveller. Sorry to say it.' She added, 'Name me one time traveller … It doesn’t exist … I’ve known Barron for 18 years, OK, he’s not a time traveller.' The episode was titled 'Is Barron Trump a Time Traveler.'
The conspiracy theory has been revived in recent weeks, despite its lack of evidence. Lara Trump described it as one of many 'conspiracies or things that are very far-fetched' that people latch onto. Critics, however, note that such theories are often encouraged by her father-in-law, President Donald Trump, who has a history of promoting baseless claims, including the 'birther' conspiracy about Barack Obama.
