ITV has launched a brand-new strategic reality quiz show titled Nobody's Fool, which officially premiered on Saturday, May 23. The five-part series shifts the emphasis from raw intelligence to social manipulation and psychological mind games, promising a fresh take on the genre.
Format and Concept
The show brings together ten contestants from across the United Kingdom, who move into a high-tech 'Smart House' to live together and build a shared prize pot. Daily individual quizzes test different areas of intelligence, but only the contestants themselves see their final results. They can choose what information or 'scores' to share with the house, making deception a key element.
The ultimate goal is not to be the cleverest person in the room, but to convince everyone else that you are. Players must leverage bluffing, first impressions, and strategy to survive. Contestants identify whom they perceive as the weakest links and vote them out, all while competing for a prize pot of up to £100,000.
Hosts and Reception
The series reunites popular ITV personalities and Rivals co-stars Danny Dyer and Emily Atack as hosts. Dyer teased that the show is a 'blinder of a game show' that kept both of them guessing until the very end, while Atack promised it is 'fresh, funny, and full of surprises.'
