Drew Carey has publicly criticized Los Angeles mayoral candidate Spencer Pratt, labeling the reality TV star a "serial scammer" lacking a "soul or moral compass." The comedian and actor took to social media platform Threads to express his disdain, advising voters against supporting Pratt in the upcoming election.
Carey's Strong Words
"Anyone who votes for, or endorses Spencer Prattfall for Mayor of LA needs to get their head out of their ass. I understand being angry/unsatisfied, but at least get behind someone competent and not some serial scammer without a soul or moral compass. F*** this guy already," Carey wrote.
Pratt, best known for his role as a villain on the reality series "The Hills" and as the husband of Heidi Montag, is one of several candidates challenging incumbent Mayor Karen Bass. The primary election for the Los Angeles mayoral race is scheduled for June 2.
Pratt's Campaign and Controversy
Pratt has claimed he was living in a trailer after the Los Angeles fires, a statement that has drawn scrutiny. Critics have questioned his residency and qualifications for the office. The mayoral race has become increasingly contentious as candidates vie for attention in a crowded field.
Carey's comments reflect a broader frustration among some voters who are skeptical of Pratt's candidacy. The actor's outburst on social media has sparked further debate about the legitimacy of celebrity candidates in local politics.
