Corrections and clarifications have been issued for several recent articles.
Fifa members reference corrected
Referring to voting by Fifa members, we said Gianni Infantino was backed for re-election as president by more than 200 “countries”. We meant “countries and territories” (Infantino endorsed by landslide despite scandal over Balogun, 18 July, Sport, p12).
Andy Burnham misnamed in politics sketch
An article in Saturday’s paper said that Keir Starmer had not got round to choosing his top team; this should of course have said Andy Burnham (Politics sketch, 18 July, p11). This error was in print only.
