Fahnbulleh's background
Fahnbulleh previously headed the new economics foundation, which campaigned for a green new deal including spending two percent of GDP on net zero policies. She also pushed for companies to transfer ownership into worker control funds. Kiszely argued: 'You don't want zealots or extremists anywhere near government.'

Burnham has removed several Starmer loyalists, including Chancellor Rachel Reeves and Deputy Prime Minister David Lammy, as well as Darren Jones, Steve Reed, Peter Kyle, Liz Kendall, and Nick Thomas-Symonds.
