Just days after becoming prime minister, Andy Burnham faced a scathing verdict on his premiership on GB News. Presenter Beverly Turner and journalist David Wooding discussed Burnham's recent policy ideas on homelessness, energy, housing, employment, and defence.
Prediction of Trouble
David Wooding predicted that things would eventually go wrong for Burnham. He said: "He [Burnham] is going to run into trouble sooner than later, the country's got some huge problems that need sorting out. We've already got the Burnham boats landing on the south coast, they've got migration, they've got the economy, everything else to deal with, and things are going to go wrong sooner rather than later."
Migration Question Raised
Beverly Turner echoed Wooding's sentiments, noting that Burnham has been "noticeably quiet on how he feels about migration and what he's going to do about illegal migration, as well." She questioned the prime minister's motives for staying silent on the issue.
