Trump Health Fears Grow After Limping Footage

Fresh health fears have been raised for Donald Trump after concerning new footage appeared to show him "limping" and "staggering" after stepping off a helicopter. The US President was walking off Marine One at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland on Tuesday (August 4) before boarding Air Force One.

En Route to Las Vegas

Trump was en route to Los Angeles and Las Vegas, where he was slated to speak at the Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa in Summerlin to champion his administration's latest tax-cut measures, including his flagship "no tax on tips" policy. However, it was his physical movement rather than his political messaging that caught people's attention on social media.

Social Media Reaction

Sharing the footage on X (formerly Twitter), journalist Aaron Rupar wrote: "Trump gingerly goes down the stairs of Marine One and staggers across the tarmac with what looks like a slight limp."

Online onlookers were quick to weigh in on the President's walk, with many claiming his gait looked noticeably unsteady. One user wrote: "Oh, it's his left leg now. He's been dragging the right foot for a while. This is why he wants a helipad right outside his front door."

Another posted: "Swaying more than a palm tree in a hurricane. Those leg braces have quite the job." A third said: "He's knock kneed and he can't walk in a straight line," while a fourth added: "If you listen closely you can hear his cankles sloshing."

Previous Concerns

The latest incident comes just months after similar footage stirred speculation regarding the 80-year-old's physical fitness. Back in April, Trump ignited widespread health concerns after appearing to struggle while descending the stairs of Air Force One ahead of attending UFC 327 in Miami, Florida. At the time, commentators zeroed in on the President's lower legs, alleging he displayed signs of heavy swelling. Rupar noted during that incident: "Check out how swollen Trump's ankles are."

President's Defence

Despite the relentless speculation surrounding his physical condition and stair-navigating abilities, Trump has consistently refuted any suggestions of underlying health problems, maintaining he remains in peak shape.
