Vandal Smashes £200k Aston Martin, Sprays 'Cheater' on Bonnet

A £200,000 Aston Martin was vandalised in a golf club car park in southwest London on Monday. The attacker smashed the windows and spray-painted the word 'CHEATER' on the bonnet of the 2015 Vanquish.

The incident occurred at Hampton Court Palace Golf Club in Molesey. A witness filmed a man wearing a baseball cap pulling a hammer from his rucksack before damaging the vehicle, including breaking the lights and tearing open the roof.

The black car bore the personalised numberplate 'BD55 BOB'. The Vanquish, which can sell for up to £192,000 new, features a V12 5.9-litre engine, a top speed of 201 mph, and accelerates from 0-62 mph in 3.6 seconds.

The Metropolitan Police were called at around 14:00hrs on Monday, 25 May. Officers attended and searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect. The investigation into the criminal damage continues.
