UK Man Missing in Spain After Stag Do Disappearance

A British man has disappeared while attending a stag party in Spain, prompting a desperate search by his family and friends. Russell Arrowsmith, a 34-year-old scaffolder from Doncaster, was last seen around 4pm on May 21 near the 3-star Hotel Gala Placidia in Benidorm, Alicante.

Details of the Disappearance

Russell was part of a group celebrating his friend's pre-wedding stag do when he lost contact with the others. His wife, Nicky, received a call from friends informing her that he had gone missing. She is now traveling to Benidorm to aid in the search efforts.

Description and Last Known Whereabouts

At the time of his disappearance, Russell was believed to be wearing either a pink or black t-shirt. He is described as having mid-length curly dark hair, a beard, and a slim build, standing approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall. He was last seen in the vicinity of the Hotel Gala Placidia.

Russell, who started his own scaffolding business in June last year and works alongside his son Riley, has not been in touch with anyone since vanishing. His wife Nicky and sister Jennifer have issued urgent appeals for information.

Appeal for Help

Nicky said: “He was on a stag do but left the group and no one can find him. They’ve rang me to fly out, so I’m on my way there now. Can everyone keep an eye out for my husband. He's been missing since 4pm today (21 May). If you see him please send me location.”

Authorities in Spain have been alerted, and the family is urging locals and British tourists to remain vigilant. Anyone with information is asked to contact local police or the British Embassy.
