An 18-year-old man was stabbed in the car park of an Aldi supermarket in Ashton-under-Lyne on Tuesday afternoon. Greater Manchester Police said officers were called to Dean Street at approximately 14:10 GMT following reports of an attack.
The victim sustained serious injuries, but police have stated they are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing. No arrests have been made so far.
Four areas were cordoned off as part of the ongoing investigation: Second Avenue in Oldham, and Dean Street, Wellington Street, and Warrington Street in Ashton-under-Lyne.
Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.
