Radio shock jock Kyle Sandilands is reportedly set to front the Australian version of the popular US courtroom show Judge Judy on Channel Ten. The 46-year-old KIIS FM presenter is rumoured to take the role of judge, with a panel of celebrity and expert jurors assisting in resolving disputes between members of the public and celebrities.
A TV insider told Daily Mail Australia that Sandilands was top of Ten's list for the role, adding: 'Kyle takes no crap... They'll be no mercy spared in Kyle's court and order will be served no matter what.' The show is in the final stages of production and expected to begin filming in the coming months.
A spokesperson for Sandilands confirmed that they are 'always looking at new TV ideas and talking to the networks,' but stated that no deals have been signed yet. The news follows a health scare for Sandilands on his radio show, where a listener advised him to seek immediate medical attention after he complained of a vibrating sensation in his leg, warning it could be a blood clot.
