TeeClub, an indoor golf venue at Sovereign Point in Salford Quays, has applied for a licence to sell alcohol for consumption in a small outdoor seating area immediately outside the premises. The application will be discussed at a licensing hearing at Salford Civic Centre on Friday, August 14.
Venue's proposal
The venue, which hosts a digital driving range and serves pints, stonebaked pizzas, and paninis, wants to extend its drinks service to two small outdoor tables with waterfront views. Nick Holmes, the venue's Director of Golf, said: "TeeClub is proud to provide a welcoming space for golfers, families and local residents. Our application is simply to allow customers to enjoy food and drink while taking in the waterfront views from two small outdoor tables. We remain committed to being a responsible neighbour and maintaining the positive relationship we have built within the community."
Background and context
TeeClub opened in October 2025 as Salford's first indoor golf venue. It offers seven Trackman simulators with access to more than 450 simulated golf courses. The venue is part of a wave of new indoor attractions at Quayside, following the recent approval of a bowling alley and plans for a go-karting track. Objectors to the licence application will have the opportunity to voice concerns at the hearing.
