Savannah Guthrie, the presenter of NBC's Today show, has issued another emotional appeal for her missing mother, Nancy Guthrie, as the search passes the four-month mark. In an Instagram story on Sunday, she shared a painting of Jesus Christ with the words 'Oh my, my soul it cries out', alongside the caption 'Bring her home' and a yellow heart emoji.
The 84-year-old was last seen at her home near Tucson, Arizona, 127 days ago. Police believe she was abducted, with drops of blood found on her porch and a glove discovered two miles away that was initially thought to belong to a suspect but later traced to a restaurant worker.
The Guthrie family has offered a $1m reward for information leading to Nancy Guthrie's safe return, while the FBI has offered $100,000. The FBI is searching for a man approximately 5ft 9in to 5ft 10in tall with an average build. No arrests have been made.
In a tearful interview with co-host Hoda Kotb in March, Savannah Guthrie described the agony of the ordeal, saying: 'We are in agony. It is unbearable. And to think of what she went through. I wake up every night in the middle of the night, every night.' She later returned to the Today show in April, thanking fans for their support.
