Mick Jagger's Fiancée 'Shaken' After Being Attacked at London Club

Melanie Hamrick, the fiancée of Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger, has said she was left “shaken, sad and heartbroken” after being “physically attacked” at a private members’ club in London.

The 38-year-old dancer and author wrote on Instagram that two muggers grabbed her from behind during a night out at Annabel’s in Mayfair. She thanked friends who stepped in to help her, but did not specify whether the incident occurred inside or outside the venue.

Hamrick, who has been in a relationship with Jagger since 2014 and shares nine-year-old son Deveraux with the 82-year-old rock star, confirmed their engagement last November. She told Paris Match they had been engaged for “two or three years” but were in no rush to marry.

The attack comes a week after a body was found in the search for Alexander Key, the missing partner of Jagger’s granddaughter, Assisi Jackson. Key, 40, was last seen at a pub in Boscastle, Cornwall, on 24 January. His death is not being treated as suspicious.
