Married Teacher Arrested for Sexual Relations with Student

A married teacher from Riverside County, California, has been arrested on suspicion of having sexual relations with a student, with authorities indicating there may be additional victims.

Samantha J. Watson, a 41-year-old resident of Eastvale, was taken into custody last Friday on charges of sending harmful material to a minor and other sexual offenses. The alleged incidents occurred between 2017 and 2018 while Watson was employed as a teacher at a charter school in Moreno Valley.

According to the Riverside County Sheriff's Office, the investigation began on January 28, 2026, after reports of inappropriate contact with a student emerged. The Special Victims Unit subsequently took over the case.
