James Bulger's Mother Vows to Find 'Evil' Vandal Who Destroyed Her Son's Grave

Denise Fergus, the mother of murdered toddler James Bulger, has issued a stark warning to the vandal who desecrated her son's grave, vowing to track them down and ensure they face justice. The grave, located in Liverpool, was vandalised on Thursday night, with the heads of two cherub statues smashed off and left on the ground.

Speaking exclusively to the Mirror, Fergus described her devastation upon discovering the damage. 'My message to the despicable, evil person who destroyed my baby's grave is, I will find you, you will be caught, you will face justice. I'll never give up on that,' she said. The cherubs had been a fixture on the grave for 30 years and held deep sentimental value for her.

The vandalism has also marred the family's plans to visit the grave on James's birthday, 16 March, a day they traditionally spend together remembering him. Fergus noted that the grave had been targeted twice before in 2022, and she suspects the same individual is responsible. A yellow transformer bear called Bill the Bear was also stolen from the site.
