DoorDash has suspended a delivery driver who threatened to throw Trump supporters' food orders from his car window. The driver, a self-described Tarot card reader, posted a video on TikTok on March 13 stating that if he saw a MAGA sign outside a house, he would 'throw it out the f****** window.'
The clip was reposted on X by a MAGA-aligned account on Friday, quickly going viral with over half a million views. DoorDash responded to the post, saying: 'We’ve suspended his account while we investigate. Any Dasher who throws food out the window would immediately lose access to the platform.'
In a follow-up video on Saturday, the driver confirmed his suspension, calling the situation 'hilarious' and claiming DoorDash supports MAGA. He urged viewers to boycott the service. The driver's location and the exact state where he operated remain unclear.
DoorDash, headquartered in San Francisco, is one of the largest food delivery firms in the US, with a market capitalisation of approximately $63 billion. The company employs over 8 million Dashers nationwide. The Independent has contacted DoorDash and the TikTok user for further comment.
