John Leguizamo calls Dean Cain a 'moron' over ICE announcement

Hollywood actor John Leguizamo has branded former Superman star Dean Cain a “moron” after Cain announced he was joining US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

Cain, who played the Man of Steel in the 1990s TV series Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman, said this week he was supporting President Donald Trump’s crackdown on illegal immigration. In a social media post, he encouraged followers to sign up, citing benefits such as a $50,000 signing bonus and student loan repayment.

Leguizamo, known for roles in Romeo + Juliet and Moulin Rouge!, responded with an Instagram video on Friday. “What kind of loser volunteers to be an ICE officer?” he said. The actor, a vocal critic of Trump, has long championed Latino representation in entertainment.
