Trump Threatens to Attack Iran 'Very Hard Tonight' and Seize Kharg Island
Trump Threatens Iran Attack and Seizure of Kharg Island

Donald Trump has threatened to attack Iran “very hard tonight” and seize the country’s Kharg Island and “other infrastructure” in his latest warning to Tehran.

In a post on his Truth Social app, he said: “The United States will be hitting Iran (Whose Navy, Air Force, Radar, Anti Aircraft, and all other forms of Defense, together with most of its offensive capability, are GONE!), VERY HARD TONIGHT. At some point in the not too distant future, we will be taking Kharg Island, and other oil infrastructure points, and assume total control of their Oil and Gas Markets, much like we have with Venezuela, which is working out brilliantly for both Venezuela and the United States of America. Thank you for your attention to this matter!”

Iran’s Kharg Island in the Gulf is an economic lifeline for the country, handling about 90% of its oil exports. The threat marks a significant escalation in rhetoric from the former US president.
