Former reality TV star Stephen Bear has announced the death of his father in an emotional Instagram video. The 36-year-old, who has been living in Brazil after serving a prison sentence for revenge porn, described the loss as 'the most painful kind of feeling'.
Fighting back tears, Bear said: 'My dad was the most amazing person you'd ever come across, funny, caring, the best heart, the best stories.' He added a tribute over the video: 'I will love you forever dad. You will always be my best friend.'
Bear rose to fame on Ex on the Beach in 2015 and won Celebrity Big Brother in 2016, where his father made a brief appearance. In 2023, Bear was convicted of voyeurism and disclosing private sexual photographs of his ex-girlfriend, Love Island's Georgia Harrison, on OnlyFans. He served 10 and a half months of a 21-month sentence.
In 2025, the Crown Prosecution Service issued a Confiscation Order of £22,305 against Bear, with £5,000 to be compensated to Harrison. Bear now lives in Brazil and is expecting a child with his 18-year-old wife. Georgia Harrison was awarded an MBE in 2025 for her campaigning against violence towards women and raising awareness of revenge porn.
