Sidemen star Ethan Payne, known as Behzinga, has said fans should start a petition if they want to see a public version of the group’s Netflix reality show, Inside. The 30-year-old content creator, who co-founded the Sidemen with KSI and others, suggested that a series featuring everyday contestants could bring more drama and genuine stakes.
Inside, which was picked up by Netflix last year, traditionally features influencers living together and competing for a prize pot of up to £1 million, with daily challenges affecting the final amount. Payne said he and KSI have discussed the idea of opening the competition to the public, noting that the care for the prize money and potential for drama would be much higher.
Speaking to the Mirror ahead of the Formula E EVO Sessions in Saudi Arabia, Payne joked, “Start a petition!” but set a target of 100,000 signatures. With the Sidemen collectively boasting over 100 million subscribers, reaching that figure may be achievable. Payne added that public involvement would give the show “a bit more of a real edge”.
The EVO Sessions, held on February 16 at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit, saw Payne race the GEN3 Evo car against other top content creators. The event is available to stream on Formula E’s YouTube channel.
Inside is currently streaming on Netflix. The Sidemen group, which includes KSI, Simon Minter, Vikram Singh Barn, Joshua Bradley, Harry Lewis, and Tobi Brown, continues to expand its media presence with new projects.
