Ronda Rousey is set to make a sensational return to the octagon for a Netflix spectacular against Gina Carano, with the fight streaming live from approximately 2am GMT for British viewers. The event, part of Jake Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions bill, marks Rousey’s first MMA bout since retiring in 2017 after consecutive losses to Amanda Nunes and Holly Holm.
According to Celebrity Net Worth, Rousey’s fortune is estimated at around $14 million, largely built from her MMA career. A 2023 class action lawsuit revealed that between 2013 and 2016, she earned $18 million in guarantees, bonuses and pay-per-view revenue across seven fights. Her biggest single payday came against Amanda Nunes, netting her approximately $4,879,766.
After her UFC career, Rousey transitioned to professional wrestling, joining WWE at WrestleMania 34 and winning the Raw Women’s Championship at SummerSlam 2018. She held the title until WrestleMania 35 and was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame within five years. She also ventured into Hollywood, reportedly earning around $1.4 million for her role in The Expendables 3, with additional credits in Furious 7, the Entourage movie, Mile 22, and as a fight instructor for the Charlie’s Angels reboot.
Rousey married fellow UFC fighter Travis Browne in 2017. The couple have two daughters, born in 2021 and 2025.
