Caroline Peaty has reportedly written to Netflix bosses requesting that she and her family be removed from any scenes in Gordon Ramsay's upcoming docu-series, 'Being Gordon Ramsay'. The move comes amid a widening rift between the Olympic swimmer and his relatives ahead of his wedding to Holly Ramsay later this month.
Sources claim that Caroline has given Netflix a strict 14-day deadline to respond to her request. She is understood to have stated that the family did not give their consent to be filmed at last year's engagement party, where she gave a speech and other relatives were seen mingling. However, a separate source has disputed this, saying that clear signs were displayed throughout the evening and that attendance implied consent.
The family feud escalated after Adam uninvited his mother and brother James from the wedding, following allegations that James sent threats to the swimmer, leading to his arrest. Only Adam's sister Bethany is expected to attend the ceremony. Caroline was also absent from Holly's hen do at Soho Farmhouse, where Bethany was seen alongside Lady Victoria Beckham.
Adam appeared to make a dig at his mother on social media earlier this week, sharing photos from his stag do in Budapest. One image showed him in a T-shirt featuring Holly's face and the words 'wife 2 be'. The swimmer also released a statement addressing the feud, saying: 'There are always two sides to every story.'
The Mirror has approached Netflix and Gordon Ramsay's spokesperson for comment.
