Teen Dangles from Carnival Cruise Ship in Reckless Stunt

A disturbing video has emerged showing a teenage boy dangling from the side of a Carnival cruise ship while it was at sea. The footage, captured by a friend, depicts the boy climbing over the railing of the Carnival Liberty and hanging precariously above the water.

The incident occurred on November 12, according to Carnival, though the exact time of the video is unclear. The video was posted to Twitter by user Anthony Rosale, who wrote: 'Craziest dude I met on my cruise.' Laughter can be heard as the teen swings over the side before pulling himself back up with help from a friend.

Other passengers expressed outrage at the boy's actions and lack of supervision. 'This literally made my heart beat super fast and made me nervous. Kids just don't understand that they are not invincible,' said passenger Buffy Halbrooks Augustine. Another passenger, Marcus K, commented: 'It's incredibly dangerous. He would have been sucked under immediately.'

Carnival released a statement confirming the investigation, saying: 'We strongly condemn any such behavior by our guests that puts themselves or others at risk.' The same ship, Carnival Liberty, was involved in a tragic incident in March when a mother-of-four, Samantha Broberg, fell from a railing and was never found.
