Netflix's legal drama 'The Lincoln Lawyer' will conclude with its upcoming fifth season, currently filming in Los Angeles. The series, based on Michael Connelly's books and produced by A+E Studios, had been scrapped by CBS during the pandemic before Netflix revived it.

Series developers Ted Humphrey and Dailyn Rodriguez confirmed the end in a statement, promising 'the satisfying finale Mickey Haller deserves.' They expressed gratitude to Netflix, A+E Studios, and fans, noting the opportunity to provide a proper conclusion and potentially chart new courses for some characters.

Joining the final season as recurring guest stars are Nate Corddry, Tricia Helfer, Amy Aquino, Angela Trimbur, Elpidia Carillo, and Keir O'Donnell. They join series regulars Manuel Garcia Rulfo, Becki Newton, Jazz Raycole, Angus Sampson, and Cobie Smulders, along with previously announced guest stars including Chris Diamantopoulos, Corbin Bernsen, and Diane Guerrero.

The 10-episode fifth season is inspired by the seventh book in the series, 'Resurrection Walk.' The plot follows Mickey Haller as he takes on a habeas petition to free a wrongfully convicted woman, uncovering a dangerous web of corruption while grappling with family secrets.

Netflix estimates the first four seasons contributed over $425 million to California's economy, employed over 4,300 cast and crew, and filmed at over 50 locations. The series has appeared on Netflix's Global Top 10 for 29 weeks and garnered 171 million views since 2023.
