Kerry Katona has revealed she suffered a miscarriage after discovering she was pregnant during the filming of Celebs Go Dating. The 45-year-old former Atomic Kitten singer shared the news on Paul C. Brunson's podcast We Need To Talk, saying she was unknowingly pregnant at the show's finale in April 2025.
Katona, who is currently on a family holiday in Marbella celebrating her son Max's 18th birthday, said her boyfriend Paolo Margaglione suspected the pregnancy. 'I could smell it on her,' he said. Katona added that she took a test after experiencing hormonal spots, which initially showed negative before later turning positive.
The couple, who met on the show and moved in together eight weeks after announcing their relationship, were overjoyed. However, Katona miscarried, and then suffered a second miscarriage at four weeks. 'I felt like it was made from love,' she said of the first pregnancy, adding that the losses made her realise how much she wanted another child.
This is not Katona's first experience of miscarriage. In her memoir Kerry Katona: Whole Again, she wrote about a previous miscarriage following a 'rebound fling' after the death of her ex-husband George Kay, which required surgery to remove the foetus.
Katona is mother to five children: Molly, 23, and Lily-Sue, 22, with Brian McFadden; Heidi, 19, and Max, 18, with Mark Croft; and Dylan-Jorge, 10, with the late George Kay. Despite the heartbreak, she continues to share joyful moments with her family on social media.
