Coronation Street star Jack P Shepherd and his new wife Hanni Treweek have announced they are expecting their first child together. The couple, who married on Saturday at Manchester Cathedral, shared the happy news shortly after their wedding.
Jack, 37, who plays David Platt on the soap, and Hanni, 36, were surrounded by friends, family, and fellow Corrie stars for their special day. The actor arrived in a classic red Mustang convertible with his son Reuben, whom he shares with ex Lauren Shippey.
Guests included Lucy Fallon, Tina O'Brien, and Julia Goulding, with Jack's close pals Colson Smith and Ben Price serving as groomsmen. Hanni kept everyone waiting as she arrived 12 minutes late, but the ceremony went ahead smoothly.
After the wedding, the couple headed to a reception at Hallé St Peter's, where Andy Whyment performed a rendition of 'Mustang Sally'. Hanni later took to Instagram to share her joy, posting black and white snaps and writing: 'Introducing Mr and Mrs Shepherd... our hearts are truly full.'
The couple's baby news comes as Jack prepares to film another wedding on set, with Dev Alahan and Bernie Winter tying the knot in upcoming Coronation Street scenes.
