I'm a Celeb's Adam Thomas Says 'I Didn't See It Coming' Over Jimmy Bullard Row

I'm a Celebrity South Africa star Adam Thomas has addressed his confrontation with fellow campmate Jimmy Bullard, which left viewers divided earlier this week. The ITV show descended into turmoil after Jimmy refused to participate in a trial, jeopardising their position in camp.

Jimmy, who was partnered with Adam, understood that withdrawing would mean both would be sent home. However, he pulled out prematurely, leaving Adam incensed. In a fiery exchange, Adam exclaimed: 'Are you f***ing taking the p***?' Presenters Ant and Dec later asked campmates if Adam could remain, and they agreed he should get another chance.

Adam, a finalist on the spin-off, told ITV: 'It was just really random and unexpected to be honest. I didn't see it coming. Safe to say, I don't think I was too happy about it. The fact I felt like I was leaving because of someone else just really broke my heart more than anything as I wanted to do my kids proud.'

He added: 'Emotions can get the better of you in there and in hindsight, I probably would never have reacted the way I did but I was just really upset.' Fellow campmate Craig Charles later revealed on This Morning that the altercation was far more 'traumatic' than audiences realised, claiming it was 'unbroadcastable' and that Adam was 'so aggressive, it looked like he was going to attack Jimmy'.
