Rapper Ice Spice has addressed an altercation at a McDonald's in Hollywood, taking to social media to make light of the incident. In a post on X, she wrote, 'This wouldn’t happen at a Wendy’s,' referencing her partnership with the rival fast food chain.
The incident occurred early Wednesday morning, with footage obtained by TMZ showing Ice Spice sitting in a booth when a woman approached and attempted to sit next to her. Ice Spice pointed towards the door, leading to the woman slapping her. The rapper then chased after her, climbing across tables and booths, and the fight continued outside where Ice Spice was pushed onto her back.
In a statement to Billboard, her attorney Bradford Cohen confirmed the attack has been reported to the LAPD. 'We will be pursuing any and all criminal and civil avenues to hold the perpetrators responsible for their actions,' he said. 'We are also exploring holding the location responsible for their apparent lack of appropriate security.'
Cohen added that the individuals involved 'did not realize that we would get the video from inside the McDonald’s where the unprovoked attack occurred.' He claimed they turned their cameras on after the initial attack to 'go viral,' but warned that 'the only thing that will be going viral for them is their mugshots.'
