A new Western drama has arrived on Paramount Plus and is already being hailed as one of the finest shows of the year. Dutton Ranch, a spin-off and continuation of the hit series Yellowstone, has captivated audiences since its debut a few weeks ago.
Television critic Luke Ecclestone, known online as Eccy, urged viewers not to miss the programme, describing it as the best show of the year. He said: "Two of the greatest characters on television are finally back."
The series follows Beth Dutton (Kelly Reilly) and Rip Wheeler (Cole Hauser) as they stake everything on a fresh start in South Texas, pursuing a future away from Yellowstone. However, they quickly encounter a competing ranch, the Ten Petal Ranch, determined to protect its empire at any cost.
Fans have taken to social media to praise the show, with some declaring it 'like Yellowstone season six' and others going further by calling it 'better than Yellowstone' itself. The first three episodes have scored an impressive 88 per cent on Rotten Tomatoes and 8.5/10 on IMDb.
Ecclestone added: "This show wastes absolutely no time getting straight into it... I am absolutely in love with it and I can't wait to see where this goes." Dutton Ranch is available to stream on Paramount Plus, with new episodes released weekly.
