Ciara Miller has dismissed calls for her to become the next lead of The Bachelorette, responding with a blunt two-word answer. The Summer House star, 30, told Glamour magazine that she is “way too private” for the role, adding: “F*** no.”
Miller, who is currently navigating a friendship fallout with co-star Amanda Batula over Batula’s relationship with Miller’s ex-boyfriend West Wilson, said she is “so happy being single.” She explained: “Honestly, I can’t imagine anyone being in my apartment. I don’t think it’s a bad thing to be single.”
The reality star’s rejection comes after the most recent season of The Bachelorette, which was set to feature Taylor Frankie Paul, was cancelled. The decision followed the release of a violent video showing Paul’s 2023 assault involving her ex-partner Dakota Mortensen. The Salt Lake County District Attorney’s Office later determined there was insufficient evidence to file charges against Paul for alleged incidents in 2024 and February 2026.
In the same interview, Miller addressed the fallout with Batula, describing it as the “craziest part” of the situation. She said: “At the end of the day, a guy’s a guy … But I just never would think that it would come from someone like Amanda, who has been what has felt like in my circle and in my corner for so long.”
Batula and Wilson confirmed their relationship in a joint Instagram statement, acknowledging that their actions “have had an impact beyond just us.” Miller responded at the time with a cryptic Instagram Story post promoting the Apple TV series Your Friends and Neighbors, writing: “If you can’t trust your Friends & Neighbors, who can you trust?”
