Caprice Bourret Opens Up About Her £42 Secret Wedding and Entrepreneurial Journey

"Our wedding was not exactly the most conventional of all weddings," Caprice revealed with a laugh. "It was 42 quid or something. We just went to the register office, and then after that we went back to work and called it a day. To say it was very low-key is an understatement."
The business-savvy star explained her reasoning for avoiding an elaborate ceremony: "I'd rather spend the money on a down payment for a house or something. I just wanted to be a little bit more sensible, and also, we had [sons] Jett and Jax, and your priorities in life change."

"You couldn't make it up," said the actress, who recently appeared alongside her children in the Channel 5 film A Scottish Christmas Secret. Despite their successful on-screen debut, Caprice revealed her sons have decided against acting careers: "They smashed it on set, but my husband was very reluctant for me to put them in [the film]. They really wanted to be actors, and I thought to myself, I've got to shut this down right now before it goes any further."

Caprice explained her husband's reservations about their children entering show business: "He doesn't want them to be in the entertainment world at all. There's no privacy, and he's such a private person, which is ironic because he's married to the most non-private person on this planet. He didn't want that life for them, but we don't have to worry about it now, thankfully."
Her sons ultimately reached their own conclusion, telling her: "We're going to stick to finance, Mommy. We're not going be actors." Caprice added proudly: "Ty is absolutely over the moon, but they had to figure it out for themselves. I don't want to be that kind of parent who tells them how to do things."

"It was almost 10 years ago since I had the surgery, and afterwards of course you're paranoid," she confided. "Now I'm at a point where I'm very confident, but I'm very active on being healthy. I take God knows how many supplements, because prevention is everything to me right now."
The business guru has become deeply committed to wellness research: "I don't know if it's just the age I am, but there's a lot of people getting sick, and I just think prevention is really important in educating myself. Last night I was up until 3am, just reading about the newest supplements on the table and what more I can take, and do."
Maintaining Health and Embracing Age
Caprice also shared insights into her current lifestyle: "I have some wine at dinner, but that's very occasional. I was such a boozer back in the day. I loved my vodka, and I lived life to the absolute fullest, and right now, I am so happy being a mom, a producer and an actress."
Addressing concerns about aging, she offered reassuring advice: "So, to all those women - and men - who worry about ageing and the future, don't worry, because it only gets better."
On maintaining her enviable figure, Caprice acknowledged: "Of course my body has changed since my twenties, and it's a lot harder to maintain. To those people who say it doesn't - it does, and it changes after childbirth and as you age. You have to work harder at it, but it's worth it because I feel so good."
Her rigorous wellness protocol includes weight training, careful dieting, and extensive vitamin supplementation. "It's the craziest protocol that you've ever seen, but I don't care. I feel great!" she exclaimed.
