Brittany Cartwright has said she is 'feeling amazing' after undergoing a 'mommy makeover' earlier this month. The Valley star is believed to have had a tummy tuck and new breast implants, and she has told fans she is recovering well from what she described as a 'huge surgery'.
In an Instagram Story update, the 36-year-old reality star said: 'I'm still recovering from a huge surgery even though I'm feeling better every day. I had my tubes removed today and it went so much better than I thought. It was, like, hardly any pain, I barely felt anything at all. So, I feel so free, and I feel so much better. It's crazy how much better I instantly felt with having the tubes removed. So, still very swollen but, oh my Gosh, I'm feeling amazing.'
On October 6, Cartwright shared a cryptic post showing herself wrapped in compression bandages with two surgical drains, writing: 'When they said “remove what no longer serves you,” I took it literally. In all seriousness, y'all know I always keep it real — and sooo…I did a thing. Something I've wanted to do for years and I finally took the step for me. I couldn't be happier.'
Her spokesperson, Lori Krebs, confirmed the procedure, telling Us Weekly: 'This was something Brittany had wanted to do for herself for quite some time, and she finally took the step. Her “mommy makeover” with Dr. Payman Danielpour and Dr. John Layke of Beverly Hills Plastic Surgery Group represents an empowering new chapter in her journey of self-confidence, healing and growth.' An insider added that the surgery included a tummy tuck and new implants, replacing her previous ones.
Cartwright, who has son Cruz, four, with estranged husband Jax Taylor, had previously discussed the possibility of having her breast implants redone on her podcast 'When Reality Hits With Brittany Cartwright' in March, noting that it had been about 10 years since her initial surgery.
