Ant and Dec Halt I'm a Celeb Trial Over Adam Thomas Row

Ant and Dec were forced to halt an I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! trial after a heated clash between Adam Thomas and Jimmy Bullard. The incident occurred during the latest episode of the South African spin-off, with the Waterloo Road actor and former footballer locking horns.

In a teaser clip, the pair are seen engaging in a grim Bushtucker Trial filled with critters. Despite their co-stars leaping in to help, Jimmy stood frozen, even after hosts Ant and Dec intervened to encourage him. 'Boys, I don't think I've got it in me,' he told the hosts.

As Adam navigated the first part of the trial, the entire trial was halted when Jimmy yelled, 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!' This sparked a feud between the footballer and Adam. A confused Ashley Roberts asked, 'So, what are we doing now?' as Ant and Dec brought the trial to a halt.

Jimmy and Adam continued their feud, with Adam shouting, 'Are you f***ing taking the p**s?' leaving Ashley and Scarlett Moffatt baffled. Adam fumed, 'I am in there getting covered in f***ing ants,' as Jimmy told him to calm down. 'That's pathetic,' Jimmy swiped. ITV teased that their disagreement forces the other campmates to 'make an important decision, which affects one person's fate in camp.'

Fans slammed Jimmy for his 'selfish' actions, with one saying, 'Dare I say that's a little selfish from Jimmy given he knew what that meant for Adam.' Another added, 'That's so selfish Jimmy why not even try? You've done literally 1 other trial and now giving up?' Despite reports that Jimmy is threatening to boycott the final, Corrie star Craig Charles reassured viewers that Jimmy will attend.

This isn't the first clash Adam has had in camp, having previously been branded 'useless' by former boxer David Haye after disclosing he couldn't participate in a trial due to psoriatic arthritis. Adam has suggested he considered walking out after being left 'broken' by Haye's comments.
