Andy Burnham laid a wreath in Kyiv on Ukraine’s Independence Day on Monday, marking his first overseas trip since becoming prime minister last month.
European leaders gather in Kyiv
Burnham joined almost a dozen other European leaders, including the European Council President António Costa, in the Ukrainian capital to mark 35 years since the country declared its independence from the Soviet Union.
