Beatles' 3 Savile Row to Open as Fan Hub in 2027

The historic building where The Beatles recorded their final album, Let It Be, and performed their last public show on the rooftop is set to open its doors to the public for the first time. Apple Corps has announced that 3 Savile Row in Mayfair, London, will become a dedicated fan experience featuring seven floors of archive material, rotating exhibitions, and a recreation of the basement studio where the Fab Four worked.

Official Beatles Fan Experience

Scheduled to launch in 2027, the project titled "The Beatles at 3 Savile Row" has the backing of surviving members Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, as well as London Mayor Sadiq Khan. McCartney expressed his excitement, stating, "It was such a trip to get back to 3 Savile Row recently and have a look around. There are so many special memories within the walls, not to mention the rooftop. The team have put together some really impressive plans and I'm excited for people to see it when it's ready." Starr added, "Wow, it's like coming home."

Iconic Location

3 Savile Row is best known for the Beatles' rooftop concert on 30 January 1969, their final live performance. The building also served as the headquarters of Apple Corps. Mayor Khan remarked, "The Beatles on the roof of 3 Savile Row is one of the most iconic moments in music history. So, it's hugely exciting that this famous landmark will be opened up for everyone to enjoy the story of the Beatles."

Future Releases

McCartney and Starr recently collaborated on their first duet, "Home to Us," featured on McCartney's upcoming solo album The Boys of Dungeon Lane, due 29 May. Starr released his latest solo record, Long Long Road, in April. McCartney also performed at Abbey Road Studios for an intimate audience, sharing stories behind the songs and reflecting on his late bandmates.
