Russia has issued a stark warning to the UK, declaring that Britain is now "participating in this war" after Prime Minister Andy Burnham offered Ukraine the blueprints for Anglo-French Storm Shadow missiles.

Burnham was in Kyiv to promise President Volodymyr Zelensky the secret blueprints for the deadly weapons. Asked about the Kremlin's view on the move, Vladimir Putin's spokesman Dmitry Peskov said threateningly that Britain was now "participating in this war".
