The Royal Navy has launched a significant deployment to the Pacific, marking a pivotal moment in UK defence strategy. Two of Britain's most advanced warships, HMS Prince of Wales and HMS Argyll, will undertake a series of joint exercises with Japanese and Australian forces, reinforcing global security partnerships.

The task force will showcase cutting-edge British military technology, including:
- F-35B Lightning II stealth fighters
- Merlin and Wildcat helicopters
- Advanced radar and missile systems
This deployment follows the UK's recent announcement of increased defence spending, rising to 2.5% of GDP by 2030.
