Major Blaze Erupts at West London Business Park
A significant fire has torn through a business park in Southall, west London, prompting a large-scale emergency response and causing major disruption for local residents and schools.
The London Fire Brigade was alerted to the incident at 8.55am on Tuesday, 25th November 2025. Crews from Southall, Heston, Ealing, and surrounding fire stations were immediately dispatched to the scene on Bridge Road.
Emergency Response and Evacuations
The fire is consuming a two-storey building that contains a warehouse and retail space. Approximately 150 firefighters using 25 fire engines are working to bring the blaze under control.
In response to the danger and smoke, Ealing Council has taken decisive action. The council announced on social media platform X: “Residents in affected areas nearby are being evacuated, and schools are sending pupils home. Rest centres have been established.”
This has led to the evacuation of local homes and the decision by several schools to send their pupils home for their safety.
Widespread Disruption Expected
The council has warned the local community to prepare for ongoing issues, stating that disruption is expected to continue for the next eight hours.
Rest centres have been set up to provide a safe haven for those forced to leave their homes. The scale of the fire and the extensive emergency operation are likely to cause significant travel and access problems in the Bridge Road area of Southall throughout the day.
This is a developing situation, and authorities are urging people to avoid the area to allow emergency services to work effectively.
