Good Morning Britain host Richard Madeley was sharply rebuffed by Rebecca Loos during a tense interview on Monday. Loos, who gained fame for her claims of an affair with David Beckham, appeared to discuss her participation in Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins.
Despite her attempts to focus on the reality show, Madeley repeatedly pressed her about Beckham. 'Do you blame him? He was a married man with children, do you blame him? This is the last question about David Beckham,' he said. Loos retorted, 'I think we should just focus on SAS... We don't need to talk about this this morning, we're here for SAS.'
Once the conversation shifted back to SAS, Loos explained her motivation for joining the gruelling series. 'I liked the fact that you are pushed to your limits, and I thought it would be interesting to get to know myself a little bit better,' she said. She noted that at 48, going through life changes, the show 'really did hold the mirror up.'
This year's SAS cast includes Hannah Spearritt, Tasha Ghouri, Lucy Spraggan, Harry Clark, Lady Leshurr, Conor Benn, and Bimini Bon Boulash. Good Morning Britain airs weekdays on ITV1 and ITVX at 6am, while Celebrity SAS airs on Channel 4.
