In a clip shared by a fan on Friday, Guru-Murthy is seen wrapping up the news segment by saying, "That's it for this evening. We're back at 7 tomorrow night." He then adds, "Until then, gotta go – bye," before waving to viewers, removing his microphone and earpiece, and dashing out of sight as the closing music plays.
The fan captioned the clip, "When you've gotta go, you've gotta go," adding, "To be fair, he was rushing off for the football...!" Guru-Murthy retweeted the post and responded, "It was 5 minutes to kick off…!"
