Eminem's Ex-Wife Kim Scott Hospitalized with Uncontrollable Bleeding

Kim Scott, the ex-wife of rapper Eminem, was rushed to hospital on Saturday night after suffering from what is believed to be a haemorrhage or laceration, leading to heavy and uncontrollable bleeding. Emergency services were called to her Michigan home at around 8pm after reports of an unconscious person.

The 51-year-old was wheeled out of her house on a gurney, appearing unconscious, and taken to McLaren Macomb Hospital in Michigan for treatment. This incident comes months after she was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.

Medical Emergency and Recent Legal Troubles

According to reports, Kim suffered from a haemorrhage or laceration that resulted in severe bleeding. Photographs obtained by TMZ show her being loaded into an ambulance. In May, she was arrested on suspicion of operating a vehicle while intoxicated after allegedly crashing into a parked car. In June, a judge issued temporary bench warrants for her failure to appear at court hearings, but these were later resolved.

Kim Scott's Turbulent Relationship with Eminem

Kim Scott gained fame as the on-off partner of Eminem, whose real name is Marshall Mathers. The pair met when he was 15 and she was 13 in 1988, beginning a tumultuous relationship that spanned nearly two decades and heavily influenced his music. They married twice, with both weddings ending in divorce. Eminem recalled in his 2014 book How It All Got Started meeting Kim while mocking LL Cool J's lyrics, and she later moved in with him and his mother after facing hardship at home.

The couple welcomed their daughter Hailie on Christmas Day in 1995. Eminem described fatherhood as a wake-up call, stating in 2001, "Everything that I am doing right now is for Hailie… the money - it's for her college." They first married in June 1999, but the relationship was rocked by cheating allegations. After splitting in 2001, Kim dated Eric Hartter and had a son, Stevie Laine Scott, in 2002. She reunited with Eminem, who legally adopted Stevie, and they remarried in January 2006. Eminem also adopted his niece Alaina Marie Scott, daughter of Kim's sister Dawn, who died in 2016 from a suspected overdose.

Life After Divorce

Eminem filed for divorce just over a year after their second marriage. Kim's attorney, Michael J. Smith, stated at the time, "They're life-long friends, lovers, have been husband and wife, they're raising children together. It's not the end and it's not over between them." Since their divorce in 2006, Kim has stayed out of the spotlight but remains on good terms with Eminem. In a recent interview with The US Sun, she confirmed they would both attend their daughter Hailie's wedding, saying they see each other "Not often, but often enough!"
