President Donald Trump's health has become a topic of intense speculation after a physical therapist raised concerns about his appearance on live television. The 79-year-old was seen mumbling during a press briefing in the Oval Office, prompting a detailed assessment from a healthcare professional.
Oval Office Event Sparks Worry
The event, centered on environmental policy and clean coal, saw Trump speaking to reporters. However, his speech and demeanor led to questions about his well-being. Adam James, a physical therapist with 14 years of experience and a doctorate, analyzed footage from June 4 and posted his observations on Instagram.
James described what he called a 'stroke-like event,' noting that Trump had relatively few public appearances around that time. He pointed to moments where the President struggled with words, saying, 'That right there was the worst instance of expressive aphasia, a common symptom of left-sided stroke, I have ever seen from him.'
Physical Therapist's Assessment
James also commented on Trump's posture, stating, 'I've had so many stroke patients over the years that the stroke has affected the strength and tone of the muscles on one side of their trunk, and they cannot maintain upright posture.' He added that when fatigued, Trump leaned to one side.
The therapist further claimed that Trump's jaw movements could indicate neurological issues, though these assertions have not been independently verified.
White House Response
Despite the claims, there is no official evidence that Trump has suffered a stroke. The White House has consistently dismissed speculation about his health, stating that such claims are not supported by medical evidence. During the briefing, Trump spoke with reporters before handing over to Interior Secretary Doug Burgum and EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin. Some social media users suggested the President appeared tired and briefly closed his eyes.
It has never been officially confirmed that Trump has suffered from stroke, dementia, or any other neurological condition. His medical team has rejected similar speculation in the past.
