Amanda Owen, star of Channel 5's 'Our Yorkshire Farm', has shared a glimpse into her family's life on the farm in high winds alongside her daughter Clemmy. The 51-year-old Yorkshire Shepherdess took to Instagram on Sunday (January 25) to highlight the contrast between their recent London trip and daily farm work.
Just a week earlier, Amanda and Clemmy had appeared on ITV's 'This Morning' on January 19, enjoying room service and a stay in a nice hotel. In the video, Amanda recalled ordering 'something unpronounceable that came under a beautiful silver cloche' while Clemmy was now seen eating a raw turnip in a field.
Amanda remarked: 'I don't suppose, no, I'm not going to say where you prefer because that's the thing, that would be silly.' She added: 'Both in good measure, that's the thing. I think the idea that you are either urban or rural is actually wrong because there's nothing I like more than heading to London and seeing stuff, and enjoying London life. But equally, here.'
Clemmy noted: 'You've got to do the hard work to get the reward,' to which Amanda replied: 'Out of the mouth of babes.' The new series of 'Our Farm Next Door' airs on More4 on Monday (January 26) at 9pm.
