13 Sheep Killed, Three Injured in Colwyn Bay Dog Attack

Thirteen sheep have been killed and three others injured following a dog attack in north Wales, police have confirmed.

The incident occurred on land off Groes Road in Colwyn Bay, Conwy county, with officers stating that all affected livestock suffered neck and leg injuries, believed to have been attacked over the weekend.

North Wales Police has not yet traced the dogs responsible for the attack. The force's rural crime unit previously reported that 1,500 sheep had been lost to dogs in the past two years, with attacks occurring weekly or even daily.
