Tyrone Dobbs is set to make a shocking confession to his wife Fiz in upcoming Coronation Street episodes, revealing a secret that could change everything in the Theo Silverton murder case.
The Murder Mystery Deepens
Theo Silverton's death has sent shockwaves through Weatherfield, with six suspects in the frame: his partner Todd Grimshaw, ex-wife Danielle Silverton, friend George Shuttleworth, girlfriend Christina Boyd, former best friend Gary Windass, and Summer Spellman, the adoptive daughter of Billy Mayhew whom Theo killed.
Now Tyrone finds himself caught up in the drama after Summer was taken to the police station. She claimed Theo was alive when she left his flat and that Tyrone could back up her alibi. But when DS Lisa Connor-Swain questioned him, Tyrone uneasily insisted Summer must have seen someone else.
Tyrone's Secret
Fiz knew her husband was lying and demanded the truth. However, Tyrone maintained there was nothing to tell, claiming he wouldn't lie about something like that. A flashback later revealed Tyrone did see Summer walking away from Theo's flat with Theo still alive. So why wouldn't he share that information?
It turns out Tyrone was busy that night. He has a grudge against Carl Webster, who was behind the hit and run that left Tyrone in a wheelchair. On the night of Theo's murder, a drunk Carl tampered with a car in Kevin's garage. An unknown figure approached, causing the car to crash down on Carl, severely injuring him.
Confession to Fiz
As guilt over Summer's arrest weighs on him, Tyrone confides in Fiz. In a new video, he admits he saw Summer that night, so she can't be guilty, but he lied to the police to save himself. He explains that if he told the truth, he'd have to reveal what happened to Carl, and he'd probably get arrested for attempted murder.
Terrified, Fiz pushes him to explain. Tyrone reveals he found Carl tampering with the brakes on Kevin's car and filmed it for evidence, but accidentally knocked the car jack out of place, causing the vehicle to fall on Carl. Fiz orders Tyrone to hand over his phone. Will she reveal the truth or help her husband evade justice?
