Gordon Strachan had golf fans in hysterics at the Scottish Open on Sunday after stealing a Rangers supporter's camping chair and refusing to move. The former Celtic manager was watching the final day at Renaissance Club as Tom Kim secured victory over Rory McIlroy and home favorite Bob McIntyre.
A TikTok clip showed Strachan taking part in a prank where he sat in an unsuspecting fan's seat. As the fan returned with drinks, a friend said: 'Put your head back Gordon, here he's coming.' Strachan pretended to sleep under his sunglasses.
Strachan's Quick Wit
When the fan tapped him on the shoulder, Strachan quipped: 'That sounds like a Rangers supporter there...' The fan fired back: 'It is! Because I was polite, and I don't smell.' Strachan jokingly pleaded: 'Are you sure now, because I'm quite auld...' The fan retorted: 'I don't give a f***, get off my seat!'
A friend then pointed out: 'That's Gordon Strachan!' but the fan replied: 'I don't care who he is! That's my seat!' The exchange left the crowd in stitches.
