Peter Kay adds 4 more Bolton shows, tickets on sale July 17

Comedian Peter Kay has announced four additional performances at The Albert Halls in Bolton, following overwhelming demand for his recent hometown shows. The extra dates are scheduled for January 2027 and will again support Bolton Hospice.

Extra shows in January 2027

Kay will perform matinee and evening slots on Saturday 9 January and Sunday 10 January 2027. This brings the total number of hometown shows to eight, after the initial four sold out immediately last week.

The original run marked Kay's first performances at the Albert Halls in over two decades, featuring three evening shows and one matinee. All profits from the new dates will go to Bolton Hospice, as with the earlier gigs.

Tickets exclusive to Bolton residents

Following the same policy as the first four shows, tickets for the additional performances will be available exclusively to residents with a Bolton (BL) postcode. This measure aims to ensure local fans get priority access.

Peter Kay commented: "There was such a big demand for tickets for the shows that I really want to do more and give the people who missed out the chance to come along." He added: "I’m putting on four more shows in the New Year and playing at the weekend means I can also perform matinees, as well as evening shows and increase funds for the hospice, which is what it’s all about."

How to get tickets

Tickets go on sale on Friday 17 July at 10am via Quay Tickets and Peter Kay's official website. All profits from the shows will be donated to Bolton Hospice.

The additional dates are: Saturday 9 January – 3.30pm matinee and 7.30pm evening; Sunday 10 January – 3.30pm matinee and 7.30pm evening.
