Industry insiders claim Oasis are planning a spectacular 12-night residency at Manchester's Etihad Stadium next summer, with an announcement expected within weeks. The Manchester Evening News understands the shows would take place across May and June 2027, potentially expanding to 20 dates.
Residency Details and Economic Impact
A music industry insider told the MEN: "It will be 12 nights at the Etihad Stadium across May and June. It's just massive for Manchester and for the local economy. They could even add more dates to that as well, there's talk of up to 20. The wider tour is also going to include a return to Knebworth."
A separate source revealed that a luxury city centre hotel has been entirely booked out from the end of May through June for the band and their touring entourage, supporting the rumoured dates.

Manchester's Parklife festival announced a major change to its 2027 dates, moving from its traditional June weekend to July 10-11, potentially freeing up the Etihad for Oasis. Liam Gallagher further fueled speculation by jokingly replying to a fan on social media: "You say that now but soon as we announce the gig nxt wk I mean nxt year I mean happy Christmas you’ll be running around like headless chickens trying to get a ticket so stop acting tuff."
